You will engage in projects using technologies and frameworks including (but not limited to) PHP, Go, Ruby on Rails, Javascript, React, and Laravel. If you don’t have experience with these, no problem! Experience with similar technologies and willingness to learn our tech stack of requirements will take you far.

What you’ll do

• Work collaboratively with our team to build solutions that solve problems and deliver value to our brands
• Design, build, and maintain systems and APIs that scale for high traffic
• Work with the team to drive architectural design decisions for products
• Actively participate in code reviews and provide constructive, meaningful feedback to your peers
• Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment touching on all phases of the Agile development lifecycle 
• Own your work from concept to production
• Work within the scope of the UX/UI design framework of results
• Debug production issues across services and layers of the technical stack

What we’re looking for

• A work ethic that demonstrates dedication and commitment to client service
• Post-secondary education in computer science or equivalent program; equivalent work experience will also be considered
• 3+ years of experience working as a software developer
• Experience with creating and driving architectural design decisions
• Experience writing production-ready code with testability, maintainability, security, and scalability in mind
• A solid understanding of software delivery processes
• Experience with API design and development (REST or GraphQL)
• Experience working with a fast-paced, Agile-driven development team
• Experience with MySQL, Postgres, or other database management systems is an asset
